Before and after: Lincoln Park's Converge

by Kate Hawley

Converge, 744 W Fullerton Ave

Peak Development's Converge, the five-story condo building at 744 W Fullerton Ave, appears to have undergone a few changes since it was first conceived by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture: unlike the rendering on on the project's Web site (below), the nearly completed building has balconies on both the east and west sides, and the facade is almost uninterrupted glass. Yo's truly is partial to the new, glassier version, although given the low building's proximity to the busy intersection of Fullerton, Halsted and Lincoln, I'd be sure to invest in some blinds.
